I was really sore in specific spots all day. When I decided I wanted to do today's episode, I didn't think I would make it half way through. However, I found that after only doing it once, it was MUCH easier, even with the soreness. It sounds silly, but I already feel more flexible. I felt like I was doing the various poses much better and I didn't take a single break. Also, I figure it's actually about 50 minutes. There are a few commercial breaks, but they're so short I almost don't need to fast forward. Maybe with the breaks it is closer to 40. I dunno. Either way, I'm really liking it!
[edit] - Oh yeah. Another thing I really like about it is it's in my own home, but it's not the same thing over and over again everyday. That's a bonus.

There's a high energy yoga show that comes on Oxygen every morning at 5 am called Inhale. I TiVo'd it all last week and just did my first one. I couldn't make it all the way through the "warmup"... I took about a 10 minute break and then finished off the rest of the show. It's about 40 minutes or so. And it kicked my ass. I like it.
Really belated Happy Birthday to my sister. Man I had a plan to call you on your birthday and then I forgot and then everytime I remembered it was 4am or something silly, so I couldn't call. I'm a bad bad sister. But, I hope you had a good B-day!!

Oh right. I forgot to share this. We renamed the cat Ding. That's what you say when a character in a game gains a level. Ding!
Working on a night shift really has it's downfalls. One of the bigger ones is having a night shift sleeping schedule. The reason it sucks is because the rest of the world makes sure to do all noisy things in the morning, which is reasonable to most people, but for people who work a night shift, it's really, really annoying. For example, our apartment complex tested out the fire alarms this morning at 10:30ish. That's like 3:30 AM for my weird schedule. When they test the fire alarms, the alarm just beeps for 1 second, about every minute. It went on for like 20 minutes. It scared the cat, so she continued to meow for another 10 minutes after that. Then I started thinking about food and I got hungry, but I didn't want to get up, but it still kept me awake for an hour or so. Anyway, all that to say I'm really tired now. No one with a normal schedule would have been as inconvenienced by the alarm testing. I'm jealous of normal schedules.

I love it when I have quarters at work so I can spoil myself with a coke now and then. I also love it when the special upstairs people stay late because they get fancy foods taken to them and they always have too much, so we get an e-mail saying "Hey peons, there are food scraps up here if you'd like to take them." And so we do. Tonight, we had fancy, expensive pizza and salad. Earlier in the week, we had fettucini and spaghetti and salad. What a great day.

I just read through some of my archives from 2001 and 2002 and at least 3 times in there I mentioned how badly I wanted a digital camera. Five years later and I still don't have one. One day..........
