If you know me, you know I'm a really big fan of the T.V. show Judging Amy. I was just poking around on the internet and found out that the last show of this season was actually the last show of the series. I'm so depressed now. They also cancelled the one I wanted you all to go watch, Eyes. These T.V. people are damned idiots.

Oh yeah I forgot to blog my Star Wars III experience.

Adam asked me last week if I'd go to the 3:15 AM showing because the midnight showings were all already sold out. I said sure.

We got to the theater about 2:00. There was already a line wrapped around the building. We went to the end of the line and hung out for awhile, enjoying ourselves and the nerds surrounding us. We had some laughs and some of the guys hit on Adam. They can't help it, he's just an attractive guy.

We got into the theater and I asked Adam to go get me some popcorn and a coke. Because he's a great husband who does that sort of thing for me ALL THE TIME, he went. While he was gone a theater working lady came in and said "Is BLAHBLAH(insert name) in here?" Someone yelled out "YEAH she's right here!" The lady said "You have a phone call." We started joking about some kid getting busted for sneaking out of the house at 2 in the morning. Then some guy walks to the front of the theater and we realize that she knows this guy and that he's about to do something really embarrassing.

He pulls her to the front and says "BLAHBLAH, you know I'm such a huge Star Wars geek, so I had to do this here." Everyone laughs. "You are the force that binds my world." The theater erupts in applause. Literally, I can't explain how loud it was. "*other nerdy star wars references that somehow become adorable when it involves a proposal.*" Everyone is quiet. Cue Adam. Our lovable hero enters the theater with my popcorn and coke and walks across the front where the romantic duo are whoring the attention. This entire time the chick is basically having an internal battle with utter mortification and resounding excitement. "BLAHBLAH, will you marry me?" She puts her hands up to her face and nods her head. By now Adam has pretty much figured out what's going on and is approximately dead center front row when everyone in the theater starts clapping, cheering, whistling, making the weird Chubacca sound. (Except our sensible Evan who screams "DON'T DO IT!!!" Adam and I later decided that he should've yelled "IT'S A TRAP" and then we agreed that hindsight not only has 20/20, it also has a way better sense of humor.) So Adam thanks everyone for the applause, he hands me my refreshments and we all snuggle in for the movie.

He told me later about having to bite his tongue when everyone started cheering. Before he realized what was going on, he just assumed it was the over-excitement of some Star Wars geeks and was about to scream some obscenities to quiet down the herd. Ironically, when we were in the car on the way to the theater, I was talking about moments in my life where I think back and grimace and flinch and quiver at the thought of something embarrassing that I had done. You know, something epically idiotic. The kind of moments that leave crowded rooms in silence and awe, all the beedy little eyes staring you down until your body implodes. Yeah those moments. He narrowly avoided one of those.

So that was my Star Wars night. And the movie wasn't half bad either.

This test was linked by Andrew. I spent about an hour on it and couldn't get my answers to mesh so I gave up and looked at the answers. I probably should've written the whole thing out and crossed out answers that weren't possible. Might've made it a lot easier. I got some of them right by the same deductions as the people who provided strategies. I think I would've gotten it eventually. Oh well! Take it and see how you do. I think my cousin Richard could solve it. And Tom. And probably Wendy. Let me know how you do.

Oooh what to write about.

Well, this last weekend I got to spend time with the two moms in my life. My own and my husbands own. We had a very good time with all families involved. I got to see Sadee and she's growing really fast. She's still the most adorable being I've ever seen. I love her!

Also, remember the post about my shoulder that was bothering me until I woke up weird and it popped and felt better? Well a few days after that it started aching pretty bad again. So this weekend at mom's I said something to dad about it and he said my symptoms sound an awful lot like his friend Lee who just had to have surgery to fix a rotator cuff, or something like that. So I'm a touch nervous. I'm going to go see a Doc about it not this week but the following week. This weekend there's a golf tournament that I want to play in with my dad and sister, so I'd rather not have a doc tell me I can't play. I haven't *wanted* to play in a tournament for a long time, so I'm going to take advantage of my misplaced desire and go have some fun. Maybe win some monies. From what I can tell, it won't hurt to swing. It only hurts when I lift it this one specific way, which I think is weird, but it's really annoying.

Well look at that. I actually did write a decent amount. Go me.

Mom finally got some pictures of the new house up. I have to note this one and this one. The first one is the smallest room in the whole house, but I love it because it's so cool looking with the old sink/cabinet thing. The second one, I helped out with the ceiling so I'm proud of it. It looks so neat.
