There seems to be some confusion. The gross picture I linked was actually from my round of Strep from last year. This year, I knew when it was coming, as I usually do, and I went to the Dr. the next day and explained the situation. He said I know my body better than anyone and just wrote out the prescription for hte antibiotics that I usually get. So I've been taking those for a week now and the Strep didn't flare up. So, yes, I'm doing well. Thanks to everyone who has asked. :)

Actually, the e-giftcard I got was for Target and the two DVD's I bought were hiddenly from Amazon. Which just further proves your point, but it wasn't that it didn't work. They just had it so well hidden that I was purchasing DVD's from Amazon and not from Target, that it confused me.
So, I'm going to see how many posts in a row I can start off by saying So.
My cat has been in a very, VERY wirey mood today. I don't know why, but it's almost disturbing. She rolls around on the ground a lot and makes what I can only describe as a moaning sound. It's almost audibly like a person moaning. She doesn't seem to be in any pain, she's just in a really weird mood.
I thought maybe she had eaten some of the catnip that she ripped open last week, so I asked. "Have you been doing drugs?"
Then I asked, "Have you been drinking cat liqour?"
HAH. Maybe you're staring at the text asking yourself what's so funny. That's okay. It just made me laugh a lot.
Cat liqour. Cat litter. Get it?? HAHHAHHH
EDIT - K maybe she's in heat. Thanks Andrew.

So, I've kind of had a running joke with Adam for a long time about not believing that the state of Delaware actually exists, as I've never met anyone from there and no one I've ever asked has met anyone from there. One logical conclusion to this is: Delaware simply doesn't exist and the colonists weren't quite comfortable with having only 12 states, so they made one up. To completely burst my conspiracy bubble, I just took a call from a man in Delaware. It's exciting to know that there is a small chunk of land out there that isn't a complete lie. Everyone can now know the truth, that there is, in fact, a Delaware and that there is at least one man there by the name of Ernest. I did find it odd that his street was named Loblolly Drive. Weird.
Now I just need to find someone from South Dakota and New Hampshire.

I am officially an Aunt. Ms. Sadee Grace was born on March 11 at 11:21 am weighing in at 7 pounds 8 ounces and measuring an impressive 20 inches. Sadee and Mommy did excellent. Kudos to my sister for being so strong. Sadee is a pretty little baby girl. I think Davis might have to go solo for Sadee now. :)

And then, she blogged.
Well, I've been only slightly busy the last couple of weeks. Week before last I had a big crappy allergy fest so I slept a lot. Then last week I went to mom's to help her put wallpaper on the ceiling. I know it sounds weird, but it's going to look really good. Her house is just about done. A few more weeks and they'll be moving out of the Barndeminium and into the house. It's all pretty exciting.
I'm going Sunday to stay with Andra for the last week of her preggers. She'll check into the hospital on Thursday night to start the inducing process and then she's supposed to be delivering sometime on Friday. There are apparently a few things hinging on this plan, like, oh, Sadee being a really big baby. Things might change and they might try to do a C-Section. That should all be figured out on Tuesday at the last official doctors appointment. All very fun and exciting, much to the appeasement of my moms.
I don't remember if I ever talked about this work at home thing I'm doing now, but that's technically what I'm doing as I speak. Easiest job in the world and I can sit at home in my PJ's to do it. It's great.
Also, I've applied at the community college here to take the steps necessary to complete my Paramedic schooling. I'm pretty excited to get all of that started. We're also in the beginning stages of buying our first home. It's in Hutto, which is just 15 minutes northish of where we are now. It's a small little town for now, but it's looking to be rather HUGE in the next 5 years or so. They even still have a volunteer fire department, so maybe I can get in there and work with them until they start up a paid EMS station. That'd be nice.
I guess that's pretty much it for this update. Hope everyone is doing well.
OH I haven't mentioned it in a long time so I thought I'd throw this out. Keep your prayers up for little Carter!!
OH x 2 - An old high school friend of mine has apparently made a rad new album! Amy Lepard can freakin sing! Check her out.
