Another shit day to round out my shit weekend. Now I'm home doing laundry and tomorrow I get to get the hell out of this hole and spend some time in Dallas. I'm excited to see all my TsN folk and the friends and family. It should be a packed week, which is good. I'm so irritable right now and I don't know why. It's not PMS. I think I'm just sick life in general right now. And having to deal with selfish, egotistical people all the time. Endrant. I'll go kick some dork boy ass in a dork game now.

In the last two hours I caught a scorpion, saved a kitten and lost saved data from the last 4 years, including every website I've ever designed. Again, don't ask how. Just know this is possibly one of the worst evenings of my life.

I should definitely be in bed. I have to go to work tomorrow at 6:30. In the morning!! Gah. This tiny ass town has class reunions every year for whoever feels like going home to see their friends. Granted most people end up stuck in this town, so they really just go out to the bar and have some nice parties. Of course there are a few hundred who trickle in from out of town and a lot of them will be eating at our joint throughout the weekend. I should make a lot of money which is nice before my Dallas trip, but it means I'll be hella busy. Yay fun.
For those who didn't follow, the paper cut out of me flipping the bird had to do with CamIdol. For those that did figure it out, don't worry about the meanie man. I'm sure it was part of his game and if it wasn't, I don't give a rip, so you shouldn't either. (Amanda-No hate mail. :) Okay, time to sleep.

Today was possibly the closest thing to hell I've encountered lately. I was called in early because the other waitress was really busy and needed help. It got a little slower, but still too busy for my n00b ass. I left people sitting for 10 minutes without drinks, forgot salads, spilled liquids of all types (always while bussing, so I'm the only one who got messy) and I found out I left the super ultra large coffee machine on last night. So all in one day I pissed off a few handfuls of people and could've burned down my place of employment. Go me. I still managed a decent amount of tips, which is very good. I need the cashola for my upcoming trip. Mmmm sweet, sweet CPL.
The link for CamIdol changed, so if, for some reason, you've added a favorite for it, update it. All the contestants have been selected. Now... no one knows what the hell is going to happen. FYI, my official reason for playing this game is for the money. -End-

Decided to type more.
Soldat is a pretty fun game. I'm sure it would be way cooler at a LAN where people can hear me cursing at them. I mean, voice comms are cool and all, but it's just not the same affect when you have to push a button so people hear you laugh, ya know?
CamIdol update. All the people who will be publically voted in have been. Now we wait for the judges to select two wildcard contestants that didn't make it from the public vote. Yeah. Umm, I think it's sad that more than a few of the contestants don't have a site up. They're going through the 'hiatus' thing. I wish people would leave their designs up until they get a new one finished when they do that. At least then we could learn a little about them. Ah whatever. I'm sure I'll learn plenty. Oh, it also sort of drives me crazy when they have a blog site, and also a livejournal. If you link to another journal from your journal site, it's not like it's a secret journal. It's just creating more work for new readers. Just let us read already! I'm sure this will be read by said contestants, but it's not meant in an abrasive way. Just blurting out, really. It is 2:00 am. What else do I have to talk about?

My bullet hole is officially benign. No cancers for me thanks! I guess it's healing, but it itches like a MUTHA BITCH and looks pretty gross too. Hopefully this will be gone in a few weeks.
Speaking of that... hey Dallas people, I'll be there at the end of July. July 29-Aug 3 or so. Email me and we'll talk about getting some kind of hookup on for dinner. Tonight I went with some ladies to see Pirates of the Caribbean Something Something Black Pearl. It's an awesome movie. Very funny, cute little story, Johnny Depp was hilarious. Orlando Bloom has sealed his fate of marrying me. As soon as he dumps ole Kate. Apparently I'm not the only one who developed a crush on him when LoTR first came out. So much for my originality. I'm just another fangirl. *sigh* So anyway, I'd highly recommend seeing this.

I don't really have anything to write about. I have a funny photo-story to put up from July 4th, but just like the other photo-stories I've promised, I'm being lazy and not putting it together in a timely fashion. Here's a nice disgusting story for everyone.
Today I went to see Finding Nemo with my cousin. When the movie was over, I went to the bathroom to release that oh so disturbing pressure (Number 1 only.. this is important for later.) I took my keys out of my back pocket so they wouldn't fall in the toilet while I was using it at which point I promptly dropped them directly into... you guessed it. The toilet. I spent the next 5 minutes wrapping my hand in all the toilet paper that was available. Please keep in mind I have a very sensitive stomach. I gag when I see people spit and it dangles from their lips. oh..... bleh... GLSKDGHO ..... I'm getting sick thinking about it. So I went to fish the keys out with my toilet paper covered hand. It was thick too. Like an extra 4 inches wrapped around my hand. I went for the keys, got them out and immediately threw up into the toilet. Then I washed my hands for about 10 minutes and we went to eat. I gagged the entire way to the restaraunt thinking about it. I washed my hands again in super hot water and scrubbed them to hell with paper towels.
I think the only reason I've shared this is because I feel guilty for not blogging much lately and when I do, it's spam for a contest I'm in. Sorry. I think this actually makes me feel worse. AFK while I puke some more.

Unfortunately, I'm still awake. Fortunately a TsN'er asked me if I had 'won' my little contest yet. That reminded me that the results were announced today and I made the top 10! When I turn off all the lights and only leave my monitor on, it attracts all the bugs in the room and I can kill them. Keen idea, I think.
First off, I'm not worried about this because I only share like eight songs on Kazaa when I'm downloading. Second off, I believe the RIAA will soon meet it's match. Not on purpose, I don't think. They're going to pick the people out there with the biggest collection of files on these file sharing networks and they're going to try to sue them for $750-$150,000 per song? Pardon my internet jargon when I say LOL!! I'm assuming they won't actually sue for the full amount. And if they do, I have no idea why they would even attempt it. I'm sure they believe it will set some kind of example to all those evil hackers who steal their monies. I still stand by my original feelings. When musicians and their industry counter parts stop making a million billion dollars and still charge upwards of $20 for a CD that probably only costs $.20 to make, I'll stop using file sharing. Until then, I'll just hop around on the different evil file sharing networks getting the music I want and making the CD's I want.

Remember how I was sunburned really bad about a month ago? Well, after that burn, I got this little bump on my chest that didn't go away. It was smaller than an erasure tip on a pencil. I went in to have it checked out and then promptly removed and came out with this lovely laser beamed area about the size of a dime. It does not feel very good right now and I don't anticipate that feeling to get any better when I clean it with alcohol in a few minutes. Anyway, no one burned me with a cigarette or anything. And it's not anything to worry about, so just don't. It is neat that I get to say I got shot with a laser beam (even though she actually used a knife and then cautered it, which means no laser beam.) *sigh* A cauter can be defined as a laser beam, right? :\
